NEW ULTRAVOLT® "AA" SERIES ENTERS BETA TEST RONKONKOMA, New York May 7, 2003 UltraVolt Inc., a world-leading manufacturer of high voltage power supplies, today announced the availability of beta units of the new "AA" Series of regulated high voltage DC to DC converters. "The "AA" Series continues UltraVolt's design tradition of high reliability and efficiency, while offering a 22% reduction in unit size compared with the standard "A" Series product line," said James Morrison, Executive Vice President. "We're very excited to offer beta units of this new product line." The new "AA" four page data sheet contains detailed technical and physical specifications on the newest addition to UltraVolt's line of off-the-shelf standard products. With 8 models ranging from 0 to 62V through 0 to 6kV and output power at 0 to 4 Watts, 20 Watts and 30 Watts the "AA" Series requires only 4.46 square inches of mounting space. Complementing the "AA"s small size and high efficiency are tight regulation, low ripple, and good temperature stability along with all the built-in features and functions customers expect from an UltraVolt product, including output voltage and current monitors, and maximum Iout all the way down to 0 Volts. As with most UltraVolt products, the "AA" Series can be PCB or chassis mounted in the standard plastic package or outfitted with optional mu-metal shielding.
