RONKONKOMA, New York – September 12, 2011 – UltraVolt, Inc., the world-leading manufacturer of standard-product DC-to-DC high-voltage power supplies, announced today that the E Series of precision high-voltage modules will now be will be offered at a lower price. Models in these product lines have received up to a 20% price reduction. In addition, E Series modules will now be available with a new temperature coefficient option of 25ppm.

UltraVolt fervently focused on developing the means to continue its campaign of dropping prices on additional product lines following the price drop on the 10A-25A Series and 30A-40A Series of 10kV-40kV power supplies last month. After utilizing the same strategy previously employed – improving first-pass yield, optimizing manufacturing, and targeting supply chain management – the company was able to pass savings on the E Series of precision modules to customers.

In addition to the price drop, E Series modules will now be offered with a temperature coefficient option of 25ppm, as some high-voltage power supply customers do not require the performance level originally offered with the E Series (10ppm). Customers who select the 25ppm option will still benefit from the same low-ripple performance as other E Series modules.

E Series precision high-voltage power supplies are offered at 0 to 15kV with power levels of 4W to 30W. Modules in this product line offer PPM level ripple, line regulation and load regulation, and short-term stability at 50ppm. Typical applications for the E Series include mass spectrometry, electron beams, ion beams, and contraband detection.
